Fish Feet: Everything You Need To Live A Great Life

Because of the pandemic, lots of people have acquired new hobbies. For some, it’s baking. Or maybe it’s gardening, writing, or rollerskating. But one hobby is a little bit stranger than all the rest.

“I love fish feeting,” Barny McBernstein said. “I think I would even go so far to say that fish feeting is my passion in life.”

Barny picked up his “passion” for fish feet about 4 months into the pandemic. “I had just been bored, sitting around,” he said, “when I realized that I needed to do something. So I called my buddy Jorge, and he told me about the marvelous activity he started doing. Fish feeting!”

A History Of Fish Feeting

Fish feeting has been around well before the pandemic. In fact, archaeologists have found evidence that early humans who lived in select areas would often fish feet. There have been cave paintings found of people wearing fish on their feet while standing, running, and even hunting. There have been clay and rock statues found in caves that show people fish feeting too.

Typically, fish feeting was not well known. It was mostly practiced in small communities whose ancestors specialized in it. Luckily for us, since the pandemic, it expanded into something that many people know about, and that many people love.

What Is Fish Feeting?

Dr. Shine, who got her PhD in fish feeting before the pandemic, was delightfully surprised when it became something many people enjoyed.

“My family loved fish feeting, as did most in our neighborhood,” she said. “And although I did get a PhD in it, I just never thought fish feeting would be something many people knew about or enjoyed. For once, I’m actually happy to be wrong about something!”

Dr. Shine, like most fish feeters, describes fish feeting as a wonderful, joyous art that is very difficult to master.

She said, “I think that many go into fish feeting, saying, ‘Oh, this’ll be easy!’ but if you go into it with that mindset, you’ll be disappointed when it’s not, and you won’t get the full experience out of it.” Dr. Shine has done many lectures on the topic.

To fish feet, you must buy two blue-fin tunas. These are the best type of fish to use because they are large. Some people have concerns about the pricing of this fish, though, especially because traditionally, you must get a new tuna every month.

Experts estimate that one person fish feeting for a year would add up to a staggering cost of $72,000,000.

Once you have the tuna, you put one tuna on each foot. From there, it’s really up to you – some fish feeters walk in their fish feet, others don’t. Some dance in their fish feet, others don’t. Some even don’t do anything but sit and enjoy the feeling of fish on their feet.

The Benefits Of Fish Feet

Fish feet has been shown to have many benefits, on the mind, body, and soul. Not only that, but studies have shown that when people use fish feet for even just two days, their dexterity improves. After a week, fish feeting has been shown to benefit the eyes, ears, fingernails, toes, tongue, and biceps. More studies are still going on, and updates about their findings are eagerly awaited on by many.

Melanie “Mel” Mel, a therapist in New York, always recommends fish feeting.

“The benefits of fish feeting are so plentiful, so every time someone comes to see me, no matter who they are or what they need, I tell them to try fish feeting. It works every time!” she said. Mel’s book on fish feeting, “Defeeting Troubles With Fish Feeting,” has earned no prizes or mentions, but Mel is still hopeful.

Overall

Fish feeting is a wonderful art that has inspired many and changed many lives. There have been proven benefits related to the mind and body. Although in the past it hasn’t gotten much attention from the public, because of the pandemic it is now a very big craze.

“I think that the world would be a much, much better place if everyone could just try fish feeting once,” Berny McBarnstein said. “Just go for it! It might seem a little weird at first, but once you’ve tried it, you’ll never regret it.”
